On a lighter note from the previous post, I just wanted to share some joyous news!
Are you ready for this?
Maria Sanchez, an artist in San Francisco, whom I feel privileged to call my friend, has added Kitty to the many beautiful subjects she has painted. I feel so honored that she took the time to do this. Maria is an extremely talented artist, whose paintings are so colorful and uplifting. I have admired her work for a few years already, and to see Kitty’s face among her art is unbelievably amazing for me.
Thank you so much, Maria!

ReplyDeleteP.S. By the way, thank you for your recent comments on my blog!
ReplyDeleteHaha, at first we didn't know why he was saying "uh oh" and then we noticed that the common thing was that they were always showing skin!
LOL, I'm assuming by your comment that you have had several cavities?
We will definitely have to write each other when we're done reading Emily's new book and tell each other what we think! :-)
My dad asked me today if we were still considering moving to Texas; he seemed disappointed that I said we were focusing on Chicago or North Carolina - because he's thinking of moving to Texas (where his brother/wife/3 kids and their families all live in Houston). So even though Austin went out the window for us back in 2007, I still hope to at least go on a vacation to TX!
If you ever visit Omaha we'll have to go to the Cinedine!
Thank you for the comforting words after my scare with Logan.
I totally agree about kids being pure and able to know things about the other side that we don't!
I appreciated the nice comment on the picture of Logan mowing the lawn with his daddy :-)
